STEPHANIE PATTERSON, BSW, MSW, RSW

Life can present challenges and circumstances that can prevent us from living in our preferred ways. Stephanie (she/her) believes healing happens in relationship, and in spaces where we can be authentic and feel understood and seen. Stephanie has a passion for creating relational spaces to support healing and bring forth the innate wisdom and strength of each client or family. Stephanie is known for her calm and non-judgmental approach, and for bringing in elements of creativity and humor into therapy sessions.

Stephanie brings the experience of 17 years as a Registered Social Worker, working with children, youth, adults, and families who have experienced the impact of trauma, interpersonal violence, attachment difficulties, life transitions, grief/ loss, and difficult family dynamics. Stephanie’s experience working in non-profit has helped her develop a keenness for advocacy and social justice issues, and a belief that we are all doing our best, and deserve dignity and respect.

Stephanie is a collaborative therapist who utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy to support and respect the unique beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences of clients. Stephanie is particularly passionate about systemic and attachment theory, narrative therapy, poly-vagal theory, and emotionally focused therapy.
