DYLAN OOSTERVELD, MSW, RCSW

Understanding that life gets complicated and making the decision to ask for help is hard, Dylan values the connection and relationship between client and therapist. He trusts that you are the expert in your own life and will figure out with you what will work for you. Dylan is rooted in a person-centered, trauma informed approach and works collaboratively with you to find the approach that fits your needs and goals.

Dylan is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with 20 years’ experience working with children, youth, young adults, and families who have experienced challenges that include anxiety, depression, substance use, emotional regulation, anger and aggression, self-esteem, major life changes, parenting approaches and strategies, as well as behaviours and circumstances that have resulted in conflict within families, or justice and school systems. Dylan is trained in multiple treatment modalities and draws from extensive experience to co-design a plan with you that highlights strengths, increases coping and connection, and brings about balance.

If you still aren’t sure whether this is the right place to be, please take advantage of a free 15-minute phone consult prior to your first appointment.  You can ask questions and make an informed decision.
