CRYSTAL POPKE, R.Psych

Crystal is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. She is experienced in working with children (3+), adolescents, parents and families. Crystal is experienced in working with families of various configurations, including non-traditional, foster and adoption/kinship. She works from a collaborative framework, emphasizing the importance of journeying with her clients as they experience new learning, growth and change.

Crystal has a strong clinical interest in attachment and trauma. She is also experienced in addressing concerns related to emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal and family conflict, family relationships, self-esteem and identity.

She has built her practice around strengths-based, integrative modalities including play, expressive arts, sandplay, Polyvagal theory, cognitive-behavioural therapy, somatic and mindfulness based practices. Crystal is an Intermediate Theraplay® Practitioner, and currently in the final stage of completing her full Certified Theraplay Practitioner training. Office Hours: Saturday/Tuesday(days) and Thursday Friday (evenings)

Rate: $220/hour
